Hey guys Sorry I haven't been on in a while. More job hunting crap and the my old computer crashed and erased my book so I've been rewriting it. Ugh. Anyway On Monday I did a 4 piece shoot. Mainly thongs and nudes. We did dark erotic, lights, bathtub, couple, and shower. First shoot I've done with the piercings which are now a little over a month old! I'm either going to have the picture tonight or later tomorrow afternoon. I can't wait. they looked awesome and I will definitely share when I get them. A couple of them will be made into larger format prints and of course I will be asking my lovely kinkies for help choosing which ones. ugh it sucks. I updated my modeling and photography profile, fixed up my rates, and hopefully I'll be getting more work in that area since it helped before with having a little extra cash but I'd like to keep it as a pass time instead of work work ya know? A few of my friends say when I make the prints they'll buy them from me so that'll be good. I really want to see the images!!!

thank you! this was my first shoot in a really long time. Since I haven't updated my work I haven't had many photographers contact me and I haven't found a lot of clients for my photography. I'm really excited about this one though. I'm not sure I'll work with the photographer again because he has a couple quirks that I'm not sure I'm completely comfortable with (a little immature in referring to body parts) But I know this shoot got some great images because I was shown the first 15 and liked all of them in every set we did. If I like 3 out of every set I do with a photographer it's a biggy so this was amazing. Also something I haven't done before.

If you decide you love his work it might be worth having a vocab lesson with him. For example during the shoot you could say something like: "when you say____ you mean my ____ right?". He may not even be aware that his word choices make you uncomfy or put you off. If he doesn't catch on, you could always lay it out for him before you agree to shoot with him again. I'm sure that if he values you as a client, he will make adjustments.

Would someone care to explain why I was just negged? I mean is it a 'guilt by association' thing or did I just give crappy advice? I'd really like to know if my advice is crappy so I can work on it.

I liked the advice too. it's been in my head how to bring it up and that advice really helped.

could me a number of things mainly trolls. They lock onto someone and neg them for everything. since it's still fairly early in the evening in my area (dunno about others) but it's about x:xpm here, trolls haven't gone into seclusion for the x minutes they normally do. lol. A long time ago I paid attention and tried to figure out the negs and pluses but really ignore em now since the privileges of using them (negs especially) have been abused to the extreme. Negs really mean nothing anymore. I'll get negged for this. Also it could be because someone truly disagrees with what has been said. Either way it's anonymous and nothing to get worked up about.

It's just that I'm not negged very often. It's a bit odd. *shrugs* I'll ignore it, I just thought I would give whomever is wasting their points on me a chance to spill whatever their problem with me is. I prefer a more direct approach I suppose.

Just make a ridiculous number of posts, so they spend all their points. Then carry on as usual! I don't think it's what you said--I thought it was quite sensible and useful. Who knows what it is. Maybe they were bitten by minks when they were young.

a little off topic, but since.. you brought it up...could someone tell this newbie the difference between a troll and a lurker...or are they essentially the same?

A lurker is someone who reads, but does not post. It's generally considered a good way to break into a new forum--you figure out what's going on, what the general tone is, who some of the people are, etc., before you jump in. Some people lurk on (for example) professional listserves because they don't want to reveal their presence. A troll is someone who posts a deliberately inflammatory message just to rile people up--may not even believe what he/she is saying, but trusts that he/she will hit a nerve.

Not at all the same a lurker is someone who views posts in the forum but may or may not post. Most of us have been or are lurkers at some point. I often 'lurk' when I don't feel like I can contribute in a thread. Trolling is a seperate issue. Typiy a troll is someone who causes trouble or posts things that are offensive/rude for their own amusement. is a great resource for any lingo definitions you may need.

I suspect that it has something to do with a post I made earlier about not really caring about who likes whom. I don't do politics and I'm up front about what I believe. I won't apologize for being kind to people, even if it's terribly unpopular. I speak my mind and I tend to agree to disagree and leave it at that. I really dislike the fact that new people might be confused about the reasons behind the neg points. That's a terrible shame I think.
